About
I am a HEA National Teaching Fellow, based in the UK but working internationally. I specialise in developing and implementing transformational strategies that work for real people in schools, colleges, universities and businesses. Research-led and practically focussed, I use empathetic and participatory methods to create designs that fit, stick, spread and grow. I teach and research Design Thinking.
Current projects
Designing, leading and teaching Introduction to Design Thinking and Design Thinking for Social Impact with Dr Bo Kelestyn at the University of Warwick. We are using a responsive-teaching approach in a studio setting to create an experience "authentic" to real-world design challenges and working practices. I am researching strategies for epistemic fluency in interdisciplinarity and design thinking. Leading the Warwick VR Club.

I have a first class degree in Philosophy from Warwick, an MSc in Computing and Cognitive Science from Sussex, and a PhD in Design Thinking in Education from Warwick. I am a PGCE qualified teacher, a software designer and programmer.

I do research, consultancy, development, writing, mentoring, and training.
